New Study Suggests Physician Workforce Will Be Smaller but Younger
A study from the director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Health Workforce Studies, Peter Buerhaus, Ph.D., and colleagues projects that the workforce is younger than previously estimated, with a greater proportion of doctors in their 20s and 30s and fewer who are 65 and older.
