About Us
The Center for Health Services Research at Vanderbilt includes talented, multidisciplinary researchers and clinicians dedicated to exploring critical issues in health care and working towards innovative solutions. Our goal is to improve health through interdisciplinary research into the conduct, organization, outcomes, and effectiveness of all aspects of health care.
The Center includes over 100 affiliated faculty and staff representing disciplines including clinical medicine, nursing, public health, social sciences, management sciences, and the humanities. Key research foci of the Center include: clinical epidemiology and outcomes research, clinical improvement and operations research, clinical economics and decision science, health promotion and disease management, behavioral health, and health policy.
